I cannot recommend Emily highly enough: she’s brilliant, funny, creative, and has something you can’t get by throwing money at it: she _cares_.* While at Quantic, Emily singlehandedly established and grew our student engagement department from scratch - defining the mission and goals, building the team, and leading it to be one of the most productive, successful, and effective departments in the company. She developed a smart, sustainable strategy for student engagement and her work has had a profound effect on the students, enhancing the experience far beyond the original boundaries. Three last things you need to know about her - she’s innovative but doesn’t get attached to bad ideas, she puts in an incredible amount of effort to each and every task she takes on, and she can delegate - she wants the people on her team to shine. --- *By the way you should absolutely throw money at her. She’s worth it.

Emily and I worked together at a branch of the New York Public Library. I found Emily to be the quintessential information professional, dedicated to providing excellent information to the patrons we served. Beyond her duties of shepherding information, Emily was a skilled relationship builder who connected easily with patrons and deftly navigated difficult situations. In public libraries, each day is different: Emily's flexibility served her well in an environment that was often unpredictable. I know Emily to be a conscientious and committed employee, no matter her position. She is the embodiment of a reliable, model employee and she is an asset to every organization lucky enough to employ her.
