Using composite imagery & Photoshop skills, tell the story of a city. One especially valuable aspect to design teaching both was the intensive Art Directing. My classrooms had typically 15-20 students, all who needed (and desired) feedback on their projects. As a Visual Design teacher, I felt like I was in Art Director Boot Camp. I helped 1,000+ students develop their individual aesthetic, improve their work and be better designers. Fundamentally, my role at AAU was a Graduate & Undergraduate Instructor working for the WNM Department (Web Design & New Media). As a teacher, I believed in treating my students with compassion but also set clear objectives & consequences.
