My current research program in the UC San Diego Department of Neurosciences uses advanced structural, diffusion, and permeability MRI techniques, together with genetics, fluid biomarkers, and epidemiology, to understand the avenues leading to normal and pathological brain aging, with a focus on Alzheimer's disease.
