I've taught all levels of high school English as well as some social sciences (Civics, History, etc). I'v also taught independent/online courses in a classroom setting. Currently, I teach in a "day treatment classroom" (section 23) to students who suffer from mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. I can teach individual classes or offer support to students when they have a need in a particular class. I manage their ILPs and support a clinician and a youth worker in their treatment plan.

My first years as a teacher were spent in a small town in Northern Ontario. Wawa was a great community to teach in. In my first three years, I was an English teacher, a special education teacher, a union representative, and even principal designate for a short period - to name a few. The experience I gained in Wawa stays with me today. What an experience! My first years as a teacher were spent in a small town in Northern Ontario. Wawa was a great community to teach in.
