  Engaged with RedLink, a company that provides ATM services. Involved in migrating the Base24 core system, developed in TAL language and running on HP Non Stop Systems, from version 4 to 6. Responsibilities included:• Performing a functional analysis of the system to propose the controls needed for validating the migration.• Designing an application for validating transactions in real time. The transactions were gathered consulting an Oracle Database. Every transaction was passed by up to 5 different controls in cascade. The application was developed in Visual C++.• Designing and normalizing the database structure with a DBA and technical experts.• Creating several Store Procedures and Triggers in SQL for recovering information from the Oracle database (an optimization was done to diminish the processing time of a transaction).• Developing two applications in C++ to monitor the activities of the system in real time and get metrics.• Developing several small CRUD applications.• Environment: Visual Studio C++ 6, Oracle 10, Oracle SQL Developer, Office.
