Oyster are a specialist property recruitment company that focus on headhunting candidates across the private and public sector. During my time at Oyster I progressed quickly from Recruitment Consultant to Divisional Manager. As a Recruitment Consultant I was the companies highest biller year on year and was highly commended for Best Temporary Recruiter at the REC awards 2015. As Divisional Manager my role was largely operational, working alongside and supporting the Senior Management Team and Managing Director with the day to day running of the company. My role involved a range of responsibilities including management of sales, business development, L&D, management and training of staff, support to senior management and finance management. I was directly responsible for the management and training of 9 consultants across 3 divisions (Town Planning, General Practice Surveying and Building Control). We covered contract roles within the Public Sector including Local Authorities, NHS, Charities, Education and other Public Bodies. As part of the Management team, I worked alongside the Managing Director and had an active involvement in the development and growth of the business.
