  Doctoral student at the University of Helsinki as a continuation of my Master's degree in computational physics and position as a research assistant. The research revolved around fission and fusion reactor materials, with a focus on so called high entropy alloys. The research was conducted mainly by computational methods, such as classical molecular dynamics simulations.

• Teaching Assistant

  Teaching assistant for the courses Mathematics for Physicists I-III that are aimed at first year undergraduate physics students at the University of Helsinki. The job includes planning weekly exercise worksheets and a final exam alongside with model solutions, as well as advising students at a couple of weekly exercise sessions in solving the worksheets. The weekly exercise sessions also work as general teaching events, where the students are able to ask anything regarding the course contents, or how to apply the contents in other physics courses.

  As a research assistant I worked as part of a project studying fusion and fission reactor materials. The research included several computational studies of so called high entropy alloys, where the main focus was on their irradiation tolerance. Results of the studies are published in peer-reviewed articles (see publications). The job included planning and executing of computationally heavy molecular dynamics simulations, analysing results and writing scientific articles about the studies.
