Along with three other students, found, researched, and wrote about significant Wellesley alumnae who are not very well known within the recent student and alumnae body. The early stages of the project relied heavily on reaching out to respected alumnae and professors, as information was often difficult to find. Alumnae were researched primarily using newspaper archives and Wellesley’s own archival resources, and from this research, a 200 to 300-word life summary was written. A total of 28 summaries were written and compiled, along with pictures and references, in an online booklet published on Wellesley’s website, titled “A Collection of Extraordinary Alumnae Stories”.

This research concluded in a paper considering what art is, why we produce art, and the impact of art on humans today.
