An outcome of my work at LABA was being offered to be the Social Media Coordinator for the Loxton North Football Club. Still actively working in this role, I started in 2021 and built a much more cohesive and stronger Brand Identity for the Club. Much like the Basketball, I created an Instagram page @loxtonnorthfootballclub, and actively post 'Game Day' and 'Results' posts each week, along with Milestone Games, Fixtures, Ladder Updates, Meet the Coach Graphics, Social Posts and Presentation Night Graphics. Each year, my style has evolved into one that highlights current design trends, but accurately displays the Identity of the brand. I hav also been successful in creating a club presence that values 'community' bringing together the junior and senior clubs to create one. Other skills included: - Use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create designs - Thoroughly reviewed design for errors and/or quality - Social media marketing and understanding analytics - Creating and applying Club Branding and Identity to all posts - Developed relationships with members of the committee - Ability to balance multiple projects, multitask and work under pressure Portfolio work can be found on my website: https://www.emersonfielkecreative.com/portfolio/loxtonnorthfootballclub2021 https://www.emersonfielkecreative.com/lnfc-2022 Show less

  • Larry Signs and Tinting
    • Loxton, South Australia, Australia
    • Graphic Designer
      • Nov 2021 - Jul 2022

Working at Larry Signs opened my eyes to the world of print, a new industry for me. The requirement was simple but effective design, something I was reasonably familiar with, but finessed during my time. I created and set up many signs to be printed, designed logos and brand suites, designed vehicle vinyl stickers and managed the social media accounts. It was such an array of work, it's hard to narrow down and pinpoint the jobs I did! I worked during my University Holidays: November 2021 - February 2022, then June and July of 2022. Other skills included: - Created client relationships, discovering the scope of work then refinement of the project - Used Creative Thinking to problem solve the client's issue - Collaborating with other office workers to suggest ideation of future additions - Ability to balance multiple projects, multitask and work under pressure - Use of Adobe Suite to create designs and visual concepts - Learning the ability to create simple but effective design - Thoroughly review designs for errors and/or quality - Social Media creation to display our recent completed projects Show less

  • Loxton Amateur Basketball Association
    • Loxton, South Australia, Australia
    • Social Media Coordinator
      • Apr 2020 - Mar 2022

I joined the Loxton Basketball Committee in the 2020/2021 Season to offer my design skills to the club. I created an Instagram page @loxtonsupercatsbasketball, and posted 'Game Day' and 'Results' graphics each week, created other posts when needed and took part in Sponsorship Advertising. My work was much appreciated by the club and local community, as then I was asked to do the same for the Loxton North Football Club in the following year. Other skills included: - Use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD to create designs - Thoroughly reviewed designs for errors and/or quality - Social Media marketing and understanding analytics - Creating and applying Club Branding and Identity to all posts - Developed relationship building with other Committee Members I was also lucky enough to be part of LABA's 70th Anniversary Celebrations. Being on the Committee, I was exposed to how a successful event runs, and was also on the sub-committee for the Memorabilia. Here, I developed a Squarespace Website which was launched at the event, holding much of the Memorabilia from the last 70 years. This was the perfect experience to get my name out into my local community, and extend my creative knowledge. Show less

      • Jan 2021 - Dec 2021

In 2021, I undertook freelance work for my local Crossfit gym, branded as Monk3ybox. I was an integral part of discovering their new identity and brand guidelines, and transferring that into their visual identity. Using Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator, I created 5 different Social Media Templates, and scheduled these graphics to post 5 days a week. I varied the times they were posted, targeting when their users were most active. These posts were shared between their Instagram and Facebook pages, along with their Closed Group. Challenges, Member Profiles and Engagement posts were shared in the Closed Group, and Recipes and Food Information were posted on their Insta/Facebook to portray them as an informative and friendly business. Other skills included: - Use of Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator to create designs - Thoroughly reviewed designs for errors and/or quality - Social Media marketing and understanding target market active times - Creating and applying business Branding and Identity to all posts - Developed relationships with the three business partners - Using Facebook to schedule posts ahead of time Show less

      • Jan 2020 - Jan 2021

I had the privilege of working under the guidance of the incredible executive staff at Glossop High School (now Berri Regional Secondary College) throughout 2020. As it was a brand new role, I paved the way of future trainees and learnt on the go. DOCUMENT CREATION: Jobs included designing and bringing a fresh look to the School Magazine, Curriculum Handbooks, weekly Newsletter, Wellbeing Packs, Distance Education information and much more. VIDEO CREATION: had the privilege of attending Outdoor Education camps to create videos and promote the subject in the school community. I single handedly created 28 'Year 11 Subject Videos' with teachers which provided the chance for students to listen to teachers talk about their subjects, which had a fantastic result on the students when picking their subjects for the year ahead. Working closely with the Principal, we also developed a few videos shared with the community around COVID-19 restrictions and operations at school. These performed extremely well and were well received throughout the whole year. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Along with my design work, I was school photographer, attending all school events to promote on social media / newsletters / magazine. It was a fantastic way to interact with the students and get to know them. The year was a year of growth in more ways than one. My experience in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Illustrator) increased so much and am forever grateful. Show less
