• To support implementation of all program activities, including strategic planning, technical assistance, training, administrative and budget management, monitoring and evaluation, donor communications, and reporting.• I succeeded with restarting the Stop-Violence Against Women Project which seeks to develop and strengthen mechanisms to mitigate violence and supports increased participation of Nigerian women in political and electoral processes.• It helped to develop a mechanism for preventing and responding to violence against women in politics and other gender-based violence; this strengthened progress for the enactment of Violence Against Persons Prohibition Law in Kaduna, Rivers, Bayelsa and Kogi State.• The campaign also helped states to adopt gender-friendly agenda, known as women policy agenda; that speaks specifically on issues that affect women including all forms of violence.• The campaign responsive approach provided services for women who are victims of gender-based electoral violence; psychosocial support, referral and escalating reports of violence in those states. This include awareness-raising, quantitative and qualitative data collection, a women's hotline with response protocols, and follow-on services to support survivors of violence.• Provided technical assistance in setting up the mechanism for preventing and responding to violence against women and other gender-based violence that affects women's participation in governance and politics.• Managed the development of mechanisms in ending violence against women in politics in 4 states. Helped to mobilize youth observers, train and deploy observation missions to the gubernatorial elections in Edo, Ondo and FCT Area Council Elections respectively. Trained over 100 political party poll agents to effectively monitor the staggered gubernatorial elections in Anambra on November 18, 2013. Assisted in mobilizing target campaign managers from 21 political parties ahead of Anambra 2013 Governorship election to participate in a Campaign Managers Training on the Political Parties Code of Conduct ahead of the November 2013, Anambra state gubernatorial election. • Supported effective program outreach plans by assisting in implementing IRI's Youth Election Observation Strategy. Helped to mobilize youth observers, and train and deploy observation missions to the gubernatorial elections in Edo, Ondo, and FCT Area Council Elections respectively.• Assisted in training of youth CSO leaders/undergraduates on election observation; trainees were from leading organizations including the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Nigerian Youth Parliament, and tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Youth with disabilities were specially considered and mainstreamed into the observation mission for the July 14, 2012, Edo gubernatorial election.• Assisted in mobilizing target campaign managers from 21 political parties ahead of the Anambra 2013 Governorship election to participate in a Campaign Managers Training on the Political Parties Code of Conduct ahead of November 2013, Anambra state gubernatorial election to help renew political party campaigns commitment to non-violent elections in a campaign that was increasingly becoming violent.• Gathered information and entered details into computer tracking spreadsheets, documents and databases. Trained over 100 political party poll agents to effectively monitor staggered gubernatorial elections in Anambra on November 18, 2013, to be precise.
