Qualitative and quantitative work based on the Northwestern Two-Generation Initiative's research into the effects of two-generation approaches to Head Start programs on building human capital and social mobility in low-income families. Track, organize, and clean school administrative data on over 850 children across 2 research studies using Stata and Excel. Code and conduct inter-rater reliability on over 39 focus groups across 12 weeks using NVivo, drafting detailed memos on each. Present qualitative and quantitative findings from 16 focus groups on educational barriers of low-income parents in Tulsa, OK. Train and manage 2 research assistants in qualitative and quantitative methods using Nvivo and Stata over 5 weeks. Spearhead research on child perspectives of intergenerational dynamics through analyzing 27 child focus groups and literature Additional research on the HOPE Toledo program through facilitating focus groups, coordinating findings on parent and young adult experiences, and performing descriptive data analysis of demographic data.
