Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Supervise activities to ensure operational readiness of all TOLMAR facilities and equipment within budget and in compliance with established regulations. • Work in conjunction with the Production Maintenance Manager to manage all maintenance systems and personnel to ensure all work orders are completed within the parameters of the plant-wide work order system in a timely and quality manner. • Manage all utilities systems in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, EHS and cGMP requirements. • Supports the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software system operation and adherence. • Hire, train, supervise, counsel and evaluate direct-report employees; conduct and submit annual performance appraisals; recommend/authorize pay adjustments as appropriate. • Evaluate/improve facilities’ operations to optimize productivity and quality. • Author/edit Standard Operating Procedures, investigations, and work order events. • Research/select new facilities/utilities equipment. • Coordinate training of personnel on systems/equipment as well as the cGMP environment. • May complete factory acceptance testing on new equipment. • Establish good maintenance systems to obtain the highest possible level of cGMP regulations. • Prepare/establish budget for department; monitor adherence to budget and authorize expenditures. • Provide technical assistance to the facilities maintenance technicians. • Provide input and control for the annual budget for the Engineering department. • Troubleshoot and correct equipment and utility system malfunctions. • Ensure the development and adherence to all preventative maintenance schedules. • Contract with outside service providers for various facility and equipment-related maintenance needs. • Manage the monitoring and maintenance of the operation and data associated with all building and utility managem Show less
