It is recognized as a leading Canadian treatment centre for troubled teens, and was the first of its kind in Canada. The Foundation raises funds to support the Institute, and advance the field of adolescent mental health and addiction treatment• Helped build an exceptional organization from the ground up, including strategy, organization and program design, recruitment and training, policy and procedures• Established a respected presence in a challenging professional environment• Developed a compelling voice that connected clients, volunteers, donors and colleagues to an ambitious vision• Led and executed on strategy, creative, and production of all internal and external communications materials, for both print and web• Identified opportunities to expand reach through media, strategic marketing, and professional collaboration• Designed and managed two successful multi-million dollar campaigns, fund and friend-raising events, and direct mail campaigns• Wrote several successful foundation and granting agency proposals• Cultivated and stewarded a community of individual, corporate, and foundation donors• Implemented internal systems and software
