I have experience appearing at ex parte and contested hearings, including Summary Judgment and TRO hearings, in multiple Counties throughout Oregon. In the course of managing my caseload I have developed a great deal of experience taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and propounding discovery. My work in this field has given me extensive experience working with large, institutional clients. In addition to litigation I have also worked extensively with our firm’s legal assistants and paralegals, creating processes designed to maximize our efficiency in conducting the pre-foreclosure mediations, now mandated as of August 2013 by Oregon House Bill 558. I have continued to refine these processes and offer updated training in order to track with changes in the law. I believe that synergy and cooperation between Attorneys and staff is essential to a well functioning legal practice, and I have consistently striven to strengthen this relationship and improve communication and coordination between attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals.
