  I recover money for payers such as Blue Cross of North Carolina, Aetna, and Cigna amongst others. My job is to find the overpayments and figure out why and how much is overpaid. Recoveries are anywhere up to $100,000. I work in multiple systems simultaneously on a day to day basis. This includes contact with the hospitals and the payers to ensure accuracy. I work in three hospitals locally and travel to two separate ones throughout North Carolina on a regular basis. I also work remotely for a hospital in South Carolina. Working with other people and good communication is big for my job.
