  I joined Astec Projects in 2012, with the aspirations to put my qualifications and experience using Autocad packages into a career within design. Construction design and architectural technology took my interest, as I have always had a keen eye for looks and aesthetics of buildings, as-well as the variety of techniques and materials used to construct them. My role involves me working in a design team, carrying out duties such as; - Admin, drawing collation packages, - Autocad design creating plans, elevations, sections and details - Annotation of drawings (dimensions, setting out, specifying materials) - Site Visits - Meeting with other team members (Project Management, Architect, Principle Contractor) Whilst working at Astec, I was primarily resourced on the Francis Crick Institute.
