E-commerce Manager
-
Oct 2012 - Present
As the FanFirm e-commerce manager, I was responsible for the conceptualisation, coordination and reporting of marketing activities for a multitude of campaigns across various platforms. These included Facebook ads, Google and Bing ads, email marketing, affiliate marketing as well as print and traditional marketing. I also maintained the website content focusing on Search Engine Optimisation – both copy and images - for all 3 brands as well as controlled and monitored the stock levels through Zenbu – purpose-built booking and database management system. My task also involved sustaining and campaign planning for all social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn through self-management or delegation. I was also a vital member of the website mobile optimization team with testing, feedback and research being my responsibilities. Furthermore, it was my sole duty to develop and release the My Tour Info app for all major events. The task was managed autonomously and involved mass data entry and vigorous research. In addition, my position involved producing monthly reports on website metrics, marketing activities and customer engagement as well as marketing budgets, schedules and timeline of events. I work closely with my General Manager and design team to undertake and execute the above tasks for all three brands.

During my time as event manager, I gained invaluable organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and multi-task. I have successfully planned, coordinated and executed group sporting tours from start to finish at various capacity across multiple tour programs simultaneously. I was responsible for the smooth running of several tours including the entire Rugby World Cup 2011 program, which consisted over 2,000 passengers. My tasks included the construction of travel itineraries, devising tour costings and budget reports, negotiating and contracting various tour components, stakeholder and supplier relationship management, liaison of large corporate and ad-hoc groups ensuring to meet their every need, smooth running of the tours on the ground to ensure complete customer satisfaction and post tour evaluation just to name a few. There was nothing more rewarding than seeing all your hard work come together and being able to share the memorable experiences with the customers. Knowing that you made their dream come true was priceless. Prior to commencing part-time employment due to family reasons, I was given the title of office 3IC. My responsibilities included conducting daily staff meetings, task delegation, target tracking and other necessary office administration. I also gained experience with recruitment, new staff training and orientation.

Sales Specialist
-
Mar 2006 - Mar 2008
I started at FanFirm as an office junior undertaking general daily administration and assistant tasks such as application of credit card/cheque payments onto relevant bookings, office upkeep including stationary and other office supply order and general office maintenance, bank deposits, mailing, courier service booking and any other ad-hoc office needs.Soon thereafter, I became a sales specialist being the first point of contact for all sales and general enquiries – both via email and phone. It was my mission to build rapport with every customer, which has attributed to FanFirm’s strong customer retention to this day. Dealing with the different brands, the vast array of products and target audience was difficult at times, but through commitment, hard work and diligence, I demonstrated my abilities which allowed me to progress up the ladder.
