At Maggie’s I am a member of the Community Fundraising Team, based in the Centre. My responsibilities include:  Being the main point of contact for visitor’s fundraising for Maggie’s, ensuring they stay motivated and supported throughout the planning and duration of their event.  Contribute to local and central fundraising initiatives and campaigns to maximize income and awareness.  Help organise major events for Maggie’s Newcastle.  Regularly update the database ThankQ which is used to co-ordinate all supporter communication and income.  Bank donations weekly and code appropriately to allow income streams to be tracked and monitored.  Update social media pages and ensure the Newcastle website is up to date and accurate.  Liaise with Head Office’s to allow for a coordinated approach when delivering national messages.  Co-manage a committee of fundraising volunteers, taking minutes at meetings and setting a plan of action for each member.
