I was selected to attend a two day insight scheme at their London office. This included talks and workshops led by various members of the firm (graduate recruitment, trainees, and partners). It definitely educated me about the firm specifically, as well as the legal world as a whole. I met so many amazing people who answered questions about their lives at the firm through work and social aspects. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and it fuelled my ambition to pursue a career in commercial law. Show less

I was selected to attend the First Year Scheme at Herbert Smith Freehills in April 2022. During this scheme I was able to shadow a trainee, take part in an alternative disputes resolution workshop, and hear from multiple representatives from the firm. This was an amazing experience that gave a great insight into the firm specifically, and a career in law in general. Sidley Austin Open Day

I attended the open day for Sidley Austin’s London office on the 24th of March 2022. This was a fantastic opportunity to learn first-hand about the firm’s values, culture, and legal practices. There were also talks covering the basics of Private Equity, and the importance of commercial awareness. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to meet a variety of the employees at Sidley and hear about their experience at the firm from multiple levels (trainees, associates and partners) I attended the open day for Sidley Austin’s London office on the 24th of March 2022.
