Ellie Ordonez has the endurance and motivation that most people work very hard to acquire. I’ve known her for many years and have always admired her stamina, determination and fantastic outlook on life. She is confronted with challenges and will evaluate every option available to succeed and go beyond expectations. She is the person that you want on your team (professionally & personally) and will lead you to great advancements.
Janet Rayfield
Ellie has lived the definition of Grit in the manner most never understand. Grit defined as the pursuit of excellence in a given field for log periods of time despite obstacles and setbacks along the way. Ellie dealt with injuries prior to even attending Illinois but that did not stop her from pursuing her dream of playing soccer at Illinois. After 2 years of extensive rehab she walked on to our program and trained every day with the passion, intensity and commitment of a starter. Playing time mattered but what mattered even more was doing what she loved, trying to get better, and contributing to the growth of others and the success of the team. I can't think of any better qualities to bring to a team , a business, or a company.
