Distribution Team
-
May 2015 - Jul 2019
May-July 2015, May-July 2016, May-July 2017, May-July 2018, May-July 2019 An integral member of the Distribution Team, a small tightly-knit team dealing with clients both buying and selling debenture tickets during the peak workload months preceding the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Starting in 2015, I have returned for every succeeding season by request and have built strong connections across the business and with returning clients. I have acquired many skills ranging from database management, general office administration, handling of clients on the phone and in person, and time management under high-demand conditions. I am able to complete tasks to a high standard whilst remaining calm under pressure. Show less

Consultant
-
Jan 2019 - May 2019
One unit within my Master's degree involved a group consulting project with an external client. My project entailed helping Bristol City Council, in collaboration with Sustrans, to collate evidence as to how transport policy can effectively respond to its own 2030 carbon neutrality target. The end result was an innovative carbon accounting tool heavily praised by both university staff and council members. This project taught me many skills whilst addressing real-life policy issues: -experience in planning, managing and delivering project research as part of a team -developing tools and techniques for problem framing and analysis in response to a client brief -enhanced professional communication skills through self-arranged meetings and interviews with relevant policy-makers, political party members and council members. Peer Mentor
-
Sep 2018 - Dec 2018
I was employed by the Geographical Sciences faculty to be a peer mentor for 6 first-year undergraduate students, a role entrusted to provide support and guidance on lecture/practical material within weekly self-run seminars. I was approached for the role as my lecturers believe me to be an approachable, friendly character with strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills. The role developed my ability to articulate complex concepts and theories in a simple and clear manner. I voluntarily offered additional one-to-one mentoring for those students wanting further support, highlighting that I viewed the role as not purely work-related, but as rewarding to know I was helping other individuals. Summer Intern
-
Jul 2013 - Jul 2014
A Warne & Co Limited is a leading supplier of plastic packaging films. Initially a one-week work experience opportunity in 2013, I was asked to return the following summer in 2014 as a holiday temp due to my recognised ability to undertake any given tasks to a high standard and quick integration into the team. A standout task was my active involvement in exploring more environmentally friendly packaging with the company's increased focus on sustainability.
