I can honestly say that I was not the same person when I entered the job at 18 years old as I am now at 21. I am challenged mentally, emotionally and physically five days a week. The hours are long and intense. However, I have learned that I enjoy working with the general public. This job has taught me how to deal tactfully with difficult people and ensure that all guests left happy and wanting to return. I am proud of my time spent at the Joiners Arms. Show more Show less

I was due to stay out there until June, but I had to return home early due to Covid-19, which was devastating. Working with children was never something that I had considered for my future. So, I thought that doing this would be the perfect opportunity to test out if it was something that I wanted to do, while improving my Spanish. I made friends for life over there and I would love to return one day. Show more Show less
