  Renovative Thinking is a home design firm specializing in renovation and restoration projects in and around the Houston Heights. Husband and wife team Ellie and Christian Busker started Renovative Thinking in 2007, fueled by a passion for the area’s architecture and history and a background in carpentry (him) and architectural design and space planning (her). Heights residents ourselves, we approach each project with respect for the past and an eye for the functionality and aesthetic of today. Repurposed materials, an open and engaging floor plan, rich finishes, and above all a focus on preserving the neighborhood’s historical integrity are hallmarks of the Renovative Thinking project.
