Teaching Assistant
-
Mar 2020 - Jul 2020
I was hired as a Teaching Assistant prior to the pandemic, working in a Year 2 classroom. I wanted to obtain experience working in a school environment before beginning my teacher training in September. Unfortunately due to lockdown, I wasn't required in school for 1 term. Once I returned in the Summer, I was placed 1-2-1 with a child in a Year 1 classroom supporting her additional needs. Customer Experience Executive

Sep 2017 - Dec 2019
My role is to support the team to achieve high service levels, and manage daily activities engaging with customers. The customer service team is the first point of contact with TFS, so strong telephone communication skills are essential, as well as a polite and friendly manner. The ability to multi-task is essential in order to ensure emails are responded to, call targets are met, and the day to day workload gets completed. I was also entrusted with training new starters due to my diligence and positive work ethic. Finally, I assisted with the launch of outsourcing a volume of our workload to a 3rd party company - floor walking and assisted on-the-job training. Show less

I have assisted for 9 seasons at London Fashion Weekend/Festival, and 2 season at London Fashion Week with the BFC. On five of the nine occasions I served as an events and showroom assistant. My role was to support my colleagues in the smooth running of a fast-paced and demanding event. More recently, for the last four seasons, I have been a part of the ‘Catwalk Team’. The role entailed seating and guiding guests to their allocated section, whilst liaising with production to ensure each show ran to schedule. I served as an events and showroom assistant for the duration of fashion week at Brewer Street car park. General Camp Counsellor
-
Jun 2015 - Aug 2015
I was selected as a general counsellor for a summer camp in the USA, working and living for 3 months in between my first and second years at University. My role as a Camp Counsellor involved supervising a specific group of children, ages 7-16, on a daily basis and sharing accommodation with them. My camp was a sleepover camp, which meant children stayed with me for two-week periods or more, 24 hours a day. I took campers to various activities throughout the day, sat with them during meal times, entertained them during the evenings, and most importantly made sure they were safe and happy at all times. I was also life guard certified during that summer and so was entrusted taking various groups of campers tubing, kayaking and swimming. Show less
