I am a student ambassador at Falmouth University . This role includes representing the university at events both on and off-campus including at Open Days, Higher Education, UCAS fairs and Campus Tours. Interpersonal skills, organisation, dedication, and exceptional attention to detail are a key part of my role. I work independently and as part of a team to assist/lead prospective students and parents, creating detailed plans to ensure the safety and enhancement of their visit to the University. Over the course of three summers 2017-2019 I worked in the household and catering departments at Worth School; in my final year I was tasked with leading the introduction for new temporary employees and overseeing their work. This was in addition to my own workload which I was set by the catering manager each day so this required good self-management skills. My primary role was food preparation for chefs and serving food to the school’s clients. I used initiative to ensure the correct amount of stock was properly ordered and available. Show less
