I worked part-time at The Warehouse store in Newmarket whilst I was studying, until I gained a full-time position at The Warehouse Group Store Support Office. One of my personal highlights during my time in this role was receiving the ‘Extra Miler Award’ for my store at our annual regional conference in 2016.My responsibilities as a Duty Manager included handling security, customer service, cash handling, end of day closing procedures, the shop floor, delegation of tasks, and a team of up to 15 people at times. It was also necessary for me to have a working knowledge of each department within the store in order to help as and when needed......all the while overseeing and upholding company policy to ensure a motivated team and a great shopping experience for our customers!
