  I lead CASM, Demos' digital research hub, where our work focuses on the intersections between technology, democracy and society. Our team works on how information environments and technologies can be better designed and deployed to give people more power, protect their rights, and reduce the risks of violence.At Demos I've led projects including investigating state-aligned gendered disinformation, public attitudes to and experiences of technology, and protecting privacy and anonymity online.   I am Lead Researcher at CASM, the digital research hub at Demos, where my work focuses on rights online and information environments, and particularly on the gendered impacts of disinformation.I have worked on projects including investigating gendered disinformation, the tactics of information operations, public attitudes to and experiences of technology, and protecting privacy and anonymity online. I lead CASM’s engagement with civil society on the UK Online Harms proposals.

  The International Public Policy Review society produces an academic journal each year, focusing on students’ work which is related to Public Policy. From October to February, I was responsible together with the Head of Editorial for overseeing the production of the journal; I worked on creating the strategy for the journal, ensuring that we had clear targets for collating submissions and a method for reviewing them worked out. I also worked to commission and edit pieces for the IPPR blog, and liaised with academic staff in the UCL School of Public Policy.Since February I have also assisted in the reviewing and selection of submissions to be published in the journal.
