Clinic Clerk/Receptionist
-
Oct 2022 - Dec 2022
Role involved receptionist duties such as communicating with patients and staff over the phone, which required both confidence and professionalism. Duties also included checking patients in for appointments, creating new appointments on the spot and above all, handling their personal data respectful and carefully. Copious work experience in a retail environment afforded me the advantage of recognising the benefit of a personable and friendly manner, particularly when dealing with nervous patients and children. Inputting data onto the NHS NIMS system imparted valuable skills and exercised ability to adhere to Data Protection Policies in place. Towards the end of my contract, flexibility was required as the hub closed down, so the remainder of my contract was to be carried out in various locations across the Trust, including large hospitals such as Arrowe Park. Confidence in my role was required, as was efficiency to make the process as smooth as possible for patients and staff. Show less
