      As an intern at Philips pension fund, I conducted a study on the liquidity position of the fund. The programming tool Stata has been used to build a model to map the liquidity over the coming fifteen years. The liquidity need of the pension fund depends on the liquidity in- and outflows as well as the value of the investments and overlay portfolio. Eventually, the liquidity was tested by running multiple scenarios. The scenarios differed in investment mixes and interest and inflation forecasting. Show less
