  By Elke' was born from a passion to tell stories and evoke creative inspiration. Delicate by nature, yet industrial by design, the pieces within my collections are inspired by the creative people in my life and the nature that surrounds me. Each piece is uniquely crafted using industrial methods and metals. I have fallen in love with the process of bringing hand drawings to life through laser cutting and believe the use of stainless steel and copper is a unique niche for jewellery. Using medical grade stainless steel also allows people with sensitivities to feel at ease. Many 'By Elke' pieces are inspired by land and are true to the raw beauty of the Australian environment. Using precise industrial methods and metals that contrast the obviously hand-drawn designs makes 'Elke' pieces sit in a unique niche. The pieces are designed so no soldering is necessary, with unique bending methods that have created a signature look. While seemingly minimalist, 'By Elke' pieces are innovative pieces of design.
