I worked as an intern for 3 months for everis, working with their Talent and Culture team. • Aug 2018 - Mar 2019

I worked as a Research Assistance during the summer of my second year at Lancaster, and for part of my final year. During this role, I coded videos for a PhD student using a qualitative coding system on Microsoft Excel. The research was looking into how children with neurodevelopment disorders behaved during a reading session. From watching the videos, I had to code their behaviours into specific categories in order for the PhD student to analyse at a later date. In addition, I attended weekly meetings with the PhD student and a fellow research assistant in order to discuss our progress, and any issues we faced with the coding system and amend it accordingly.
