  Appointed in the April with initial task of setting up new Welsh regional burns unit in Swansea, ensuring it was up and running by September when the old one closed in Chepstow. Role included, ordering of equipment ,stock, writing policies liaising with other specialities. Recruiting and training of new and retained staff. Once up and running I was then Sister in charge of a 10 bedded ITU with a compliment of 35 trained and ancillary staff. This period of time can only be described as the absolute highlight of my career .
