    • Director of Internal Systems
      • Aug 2014 - Present

      - Developer: Manage the internally developed ERP. As the singular developer tasked with maintaining and overhauling the application in order to keep pace with, and prepare for, the company’s growing business targets and services I must balance system maintenance against revamps to the system. I am responsible for the data integrity leading up to invoicing. I have developed the majority of the reporting and auditing processes, tools, and checks and balances to course correct and align with long-term visions of senior leadership. - QA Manager: Determine testing requirements, develop specific testing matrix for custom functionality. - Workflow and Change Management: Work with senior leadership and the full user hierarchy to determine underlying, existing issues. Once issues are uncovered and fleshed out, I work with internal teams to design new workflows inclusive of technologies and labor processes. - Dev-Ops Support: Field support calls from sales representatives and company users. Determine level of severity and balance daily issues and supports with revamp and overhaul of the site.

    • Coordinator Of Volunteers
      • Jul 2014 - May 2019

      - Off-season development: Pursued & successfully established relationship with outside organization. This resulted in a superior FLL camp with funding provided by host organization. More events were scheduled throughout the following year with additional events scheduled with the host organization for their 2017-2018 fiscal year. - Volunteer Coordinator: With 5 in-season FRC events, 1 off-season, 2 state-wide training and development events there are ~1000 volunteers spanning the season that I was responsible for. I oversaw and was responsible for the recruitment, retention, training, communications, management, and overall involvement in the GeorgiaFIRST family of each person. - Volunteer Coordinator Training: I viewed success as the ability to help my volunteer coordinators realize their capabilities. I oversaw the recruitment, and training of the volunteer coordinators and recruiters across Georgia. I recognized the criticality of these people. I wanted them to see and understand their value. My primary focus was to enervate them; focus their abilities such that they built upon the strengths of each volunteer. This level of communication helped them discover their import to the team. This was a defining gestalt, through which they would bring out the talents of their volunteers. Such a realization inspired them and they built a synergy within their focused teams across the breadth of the overall GA FIRST Team. - District Conversion: Converting from one system to another is a challenge, which I saw as an opportunity to explore possibilities. GeorgiaFIRST converted to a tiered district model from a smaller, flatter regional model. I led the team that documented and implemented the roles & responsibilities handbook. In addition, we requested permission (and were granted) to author the GeorgiaFIRST guidebook for the relationship between the district and national levels, including the responsibilities of both. We delivered measurable goals, action plans, and deadlines

    • Developer/QA Manager/Dev Ops Support
      • Oct 2011 - Aug 2014

      - Overview: Software firm that develops custom ERPs and other web based applications. Wear many hats: C# development, database design, web design, testing and support. Gained knowledge about import and shipping while developing ERP for food importer. - Developer: Started as Junior Programmer. Learned the framework and architecture of the project within six months. Then charged with all Product related applications and pages as well as Data Maintenance. Promoted to developer when manager realized, I was helping solve problems and help senior developers adhere to coding standards. - QA Manager: Managed in all the phases of Software Test Life cycle, which includes gathering test requirements, setup test environment, write and execute test cases, report and follow-up defects. Implemented processes that streamlined testing and results to ensure quick turn-around like database resets and workflow changes in TFS 2010/2012. - Dev-Ops Support: Given the role to interface directly with customers. Fielded support calls from clients. Logged bugs into TFS and assigned them to self or other support staff based on severity. Helped troubleshoot system and would make adjustments if necessary. Reported up to management if anything was critical.
