I began an internship working with TIRN’s communications department that ended up transitioning to a long term remote intern position! I assist with different projects and current campaigns, as well as posting on social media weekly. I actively do a lot of research for several different campaigns that I am a part of. Through this position, I am learning more about sea turtles and other marine species and the current events that pose a threat to their existence, as well as learning different aspects of how a non-profit works through projects, grant proposals, and more!
