    • Director Interpretive Programs
      • Jan 2014 - Jan 2020

I am in charge of all interpretive programs in the museum. I supervise the Mangers for K-12 Programs and for Youth and Family Programs as well as the Teen and Adult Programs Coordinator. I directly manage all theatre programs. I present outside theatre company performances; chairing the selection committee and administering all contracts and budgets. In 2007 I began the ground-breaking work place learning program, Teens Make History for the Missouri History Museum. In 2014 TMH received the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. The NAHYP is the nation's highest honor for non-school hours programming in the arts and the humanities. The program has also received a 2015 What's Right With The Region Award from FOCUS St. Louis. For the Teens Make History Players, I act as the artistic director, teaching theatrical writing and acting. I also direct each production. Theatre in the Museum is a series of short, exhibition based plays meant to fit into the museum visit. I research, write, direct and perform these plays. I serve on exhibit teams and every now and then, I work as a content curator for museum exhibitions. Show less
