      From 2009-2017 I coordinated all aspects of The CLIMB UP for Summer Research, an undergraduate summer experience. Beginning with only 3 students, the program has expanded greatly and has now hosted over 160 students from across the United States; particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds. From 2009-2012, I successfully composed applications for and raised $104,341 in federal funding through the FASEB-MARC program to support over 20 students in the program. Additionally, I have successfully written three grant applications and annual progress reports for the ASPET SURF Fellowship, which has raised $81,000 to support summer students. The program has expanded with a focus on pre-medical students (CLIMB PRO), as well as the Institute for Strategic Enhancement for Educational Diversity (iSEED), which has provided funding for up to 14 health science/STEM students per summer.
