I joined NZME. when they launched their NZME. Events team. Reporting directly into the Event Director Operations my role included the administration of the Events team and all events, as well as working on the organization and successful roll out of all of our events. I also project managed our Viva Sessions & Viva Lunch Session events & was co-lead on our successful business breakfast series – the PwC Herald Talks. These events are held bi-monthly in Auckland, and in 2017 travelled to Wellington & Christchurch as well. For PwC Herald Talks I did much of the work around approaching speakers for the event, the ticketing, the sponsorship management, managing the catering, the registration and staff management at each event. An addition to my role in 2016, I became the venue manager of our onsite iHeart Lounge venue, and produced all events in this space - for both clients & internal NZME teams. Events produced by our team include the PwC Herald Talks breakfast series, Viva Sessions, Viva Lunch Session, Deloitte Top 200 Awards, the BePure Live Well Festival, Coca-Cola Urban Beach, Project Auckland, Mood of the Boardroom & Legends in Black. Clients I've produced events for in our iHeart Lounge include Alfa Romeo, Broadcasting Standards Authority, Bayleys, BDO, NZX & Fundsource, SuperDiverse Women, Great NZ Birthday Cake Book, Assurity, WeTest, GrabOne & NZME.

Jones Family Investments is the parent company of Kitchen Things (a chain of appliance retail stores, 18 stores nationwide) and Applico Ltd (appliance importer and distributor of Smeg, Baumatic and Classique). As part of the shared Marketing team I was involved with work for both Applico and Kitchen Things and my tasks were varied depending on what support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive required. As part of my role I managed Facebook pages for Smeg, Baumatic and Classique, as well as My Trends profiles (social media platform for those building and renovating) for Smeg, Baumatic, Classique and Kitchen Things. I also manage the reporting and requests for marketing support from all Kitchen Things store managers, much of the website content upload for the Kitchen Things website, all EDM content and sends for both Kitchen Things and Smeg as well as managing the related databases. Part of my role was also to coordinate all events for the company, such as store openings, in store design seminars, in store designer events (to promote relationships with kitchen designers and tradespeople), promotional events with Smeg Racing as well as several aspects of our large presence at the Auckland and Waikato Home Shows (Cooking Theatre, Designer Seminars, the interactive consumer experience The Space Module and Smeg Racing simulators).
