  I have been teaching in Naugatuck, Connecticut for eleven years. I began my career as a kindergarten teacher. I taught kindergarten for five years and now teach second grade. I have had the opportunity to work collaboratively with many teachers throughout my career who have helped me grow as a teacher, especially in my beginning years. I have taken on leadership roles throughout my career. I am a leader in Keeping Learning on Track (KLT). I have trained the teachers in my building in KLT. I have also been trained in instructional rounds. I am involved in the process of observing, discussing, and analyzing learning and teaching in my school. I am also a member of the school, community, and family committee. This committee connects our school to families and community through volunteer work and involving families in school activities.
