I worked in Ksenia Bravaya's theoretical and computational quantum chemistry group. My research focused on the elucidation of the mechanistic enzymology of cytochrome c enzymes using hybrid approaches of quantum mechanics and classical mechanics. I simulated and characterized redox processes and electron transfer in complex biomolecules using polarizable QM/BioEFP methods.

    • Writing Program Fellow
      • Sep 2019 - May 2021

I mentored 4-6 students per semester in the skills of scientific writing for the CH111/112 WRITES Program.

    • Graduate Teaching Fellow
      • Sep 2016 - Dec 2018

I have taught 5-6 discussion sections per week (25 students per class) for the CH101/102 General Chemistry sequence. I held 1-3 weekly office hours for students, proctored and graded midterm and final exams, helped develop the curriculum, quizzes, and exams, and taught one guest lecture to 200 students in introductory thermodynamics.
