Working at the heart of Birmingham's social enterprise sector, supporting the growth and sustainability of social enterprises and not-for-profits. Project Manager for the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) programme to develop the social enterprise sector in the West Midlands, working with a range of individuals and existing voluntary and community organisations to support growth and development. Specialising in devising and running projects supporting women into enterprise and social enterprise, delivering training and women-focussed business support. Other work includes fundraising and bid-writing, contributing to awareness campaigns to raise profile of social enterprise locally and nationally, undertaking research, generating and delivering consultancy including business planning and feasibility, consortia working and new market opportunities. Running workshops around key social enterprise issues, community outreach and development work with various groups for example young people and refugee women’s groups. Show less
