During that time, I assisted with the soil sampling in Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri. Upon graduating from Iowa State University, I began working full time as a soil sampler. In December of 2018, I moved to South Central Missouri to assist in managing the Southern region, while sampling as well. My territories included: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Southern Iowa. I was responsible for keeping in contact with our customers to transfer soil sample files and results to them during season while also proving an excellent customer relationship. I also met with new customers and drew in added business to the company. During the season I was responsible for anywhere between two and fifteen employees. I attended many career fairs and gave countless presentations to classes, clubs and new customers for the purpose of recruitment. In January 2020, I moved back to central Iowa to become a data specialist/area manager in Kelley, Iowa. Now, I keep in contact with our customers to assure files are transferred and soil sampling is being done in an accurate time frame. I am responsible for getting maps and files ready for our part-time crews, which can range anywhere from one employee to thirty-five. We run an extensive soil sampling program that has grown rapidly and are looking to keep growing in the future. Show more Show less

I was responsible for scouting acres for customers weekly, making recommendations based on issues seen in the field. I met with customers daily to make sure they were aware of issues that I had saw.
