  At Alcoa Howmet, I had two main projects.1. Process Improvement for Reduction of Scrap: Modified turbine blade processing step -Ran weekly meetings with the engineering and research departments to update project progress -Managed initial testing and purchased materials for process improvement2. Casting Capability: Aided improvements for directionally solidified and single crystal furnaces -Scheduled floor downtime and assisted in super alloy casting analysisI also assisted in managing R&D trials, and led redesigning for the operational system in a highly altering and varying holding area.
