  Paul Duesing Partners is a high-end personal home and destination resort designer. During my 20-months as an FF&E designer with Paul, I worked on three resort projects, one winery, and seven personal vacation homes / residences. My role included: schematic design, presenting conceptual mood imagery, space planning, detailed elevation drawings, furniture and fabric selections, creating and issuing full specifications packages to the purchasing agent, communication with manufacturers, clients, and the purchasing agents throughout the process, budgeting resort projects, coordinating model unit room design, all the way through final installation. My time at PDP instilled confidence in my ability to lead on a project, work closely with clients, and grew my love for traveling as a means to gain design inspiration!

  Working within the Hospitality Interiors team, I spent the summer working on four hotels and three restaurants. I gained experience modeling hotel lobbys, restaurants, and guest rooms using SketchUp and Revit. I also specified FF&E for three of our seven projects. I attended site tours and progress checks, collaborated with architects on a myriad of ongoing projects, and created project narratives including mood boards, vibe trays, project narrative and inspiration images. This summer grew my desire to forge a career in high-end hospitality and residential design.
