  As the health centre manager, I am responsible for the management of 1800 boy’s health needs whilst overseeing a team of professional staff. I am accountable for the provision of the quality and safety of health care for the entire schools and the safe management of the health centre and its staff. I work closely with the compliance officer, writing guidelines and policies and ensuring they are appropriate and implemented. I develop programs for the school, meeting health needs through researched based information and that they comply with safety and quality standards and best practice . I ensure the school is prepared for any outbreak of infection or medical emergency and liaise with Public Health and allied services as required. I support encourage and entrust my staff to do their job and provide the best possible environment for them to do it in. I inspire staff to be the very best they can be and enable them to professionally develop as individuals. I motivate them to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing. I assist with wellbeing programmes within the school and work with many staff throughout the school to provide health promotion.
