      I teach private and group lessons at the life center from ages three years old and up. I also teach classes for children who have disabilities or not able to be in a regular swim class. I have also taught swim clinics for triathlons, as helped organized the pool for different functions. we offer pool parties that I would watch the children play in the pool for safety precautions as well as offer member service for the party participants in the party room. I am responsible for cleaning the pool weekly as well as organizing lessons that we offer on Saturdays. During the summer I organize our summer program by making rosters for classes, answer phone calls not just based on the pool but also about the life center, and email parents and members or non-members who are interested in the pool activities or pool questions.       my duties as a lifeguard was to ensure the safety of people in and out of the pool. I was certified in CPR, first aid, and AED. my job was to make sure the chlorine was reading at the proper level and if not I had permission to put shock in the pool in order to have the pool working properly. I also was in charge of turning the pumps on and making sure they were working correctly as well as making sure that the pool was in operating condition as well as the pool area was clean and neat. I was also a supervisor for two years, and was in charge of three lifeguards on my shift and making sure they were doing their job. I also had to perform scenarios in order to keep my self in check with situations that could happen as well as assist the lifeguards I was in charge on my shift in scenarios and helping them to perform them correctly. while as a lifeguard I was in charge of stocking the canteen and making sure that the money we had was placed in a safe at the end of each shift.       I rode on special need buses helping the bus driver out with students who might need assistance or need immediate attention. I worked with wheel chair lifts and students who needed assistance on and off the bus due to having walkers. I have also worked with students who have a hard time communicating and understanding what they are communicating to me. I have a little experience with sign language due to having to use it on occasion. I have had experience with safety with the students on the bus and following guidelines that the school district gives us to follow. Show less
