      North Carolina Chamber Music Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization whose primary mission is Chamber Music Education for young people aged 7-19. Students must audition for acceptance into NCCMI, which places them in groups by level, age and geographic location. They are taught by experienced teachers/chamber musicians, many of whom are members of the North Carolina Symphony.Founded in 2012, NCCMI presents over 20 events each year, providing outreach concerts to the community, Workshops and Performance Reviews for students' improvement, Competition Preparation, and Professional Mentorship as students progress from Intermediate to advanced levels. As Founding and Executive Director of NCCMI, my duties include:Directing all Operations, Fund-raising, Grants, Programming, Recruiting and Marketing for NCCMI.Board Development and planning.Organizing ensembles by age and ability.Promoting NCCMI through Events, Master Classes, Concerts and Outreach Efforts.Managing chamber music coaching staff.Programming repertoire for ensembles.Continuing stewardship of a successful program which has grown by 200% in only four years!
