  I am a student researcher with Dr. Peter Fashing and Dr. Nga Nguyen at Cal State University of Fullerton. I support their research which focuses on how outdoor preschools in Norway and the United States impacts the health of preschool students and their play behavior. We are specifically comparing "traditional" preschools with outdoor preschools by examining the health of students' gut microbiota and how gendered their play is.

  I work for the U-Acre program at Cal State University of Fullerton. U-Acre is dedicated to improving urban food systems through community based research. I am working on multiple research projects including how sweet potato toxins can be used to kill nutsedge (an aggressive weed), and how Okra can be used to advocate for food sovereignty.
