I take the lead on panel correspondence, panel incentive distribution, panel newsletter content, and lead the social media side of things. I have spent countless hours on the phone, and by email, getting to know panel members, finding out about motivations to participation, and fielding any issues they may have. Here at Probit, I have a direct line to the top of the organization and frequently brief-up on all matters related to the panel, along with suggestions from our panelists. I serve as the key contact for panel members related issues and matters. I track, manage, and monitor social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin) by searching for news and articles to post with relevant stories that are industry related and by ensuring accounts are updated on a daily basis and that messages are timely and relevant. The project involved developing a questionnaire so that members of Vintage Wings could be surveyed to ensure customer satisfaction and to further develop strategies on how to expand and appease their membership. In particular, my responsibilities included research design and methodology, online survey programming, data collection and analysis. This multi-mode methodology project was aimed to analyze the engagement of the CPRS Ottawa/Gatineau members with the association. In particular, the team focused on the perceptions of the value of membership in the society, the new benefits and price sensitivity of membership, the preferred methods of communication with the society, the evaluation of the user experience of the CPRS website and the effectiveness of the renewal process. My responsibilities were centered on the qualitative analysis of the project, such as the development of the in-depth interview guide, the recruitment process of the current and former members, the report writing of the qualitative analysis and the presentation of the findings and recommendations. The results were well received by the CPRS Ottawa/Gatineau board of directors and the recommendations provided, led to improvements in membership attraction and retention. Show less

I was responsible for two main types of testing, one was the guarantee verification for nitrogen, available phosphate and soluble potash (NPK) and the other was for heavy metal testing. For NPK, nitrogen analysis the nitrogen analyzer was used. For the available phosphate and soluble potash the sample was extracted, and ran on ICP. If the guarantee was not met by ICP, the available phosphate was ran again on the sample using a gravimetric procedure and the soluble potash was ran again on the sample using a volumetric procedure. This required wet chemistry laboratory experience. For the heavy metals the sample was brought into solution by heating with three acids, nitric, perchloric, and hydrochloric. The digestate was diluted to volume and filtered, then ran on the ICP. This also required wet chemistry laboratory experience. I ensured appropriate protocols were followed in the analysis and documented as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Observed and recognized deviations in results that could lead to inaccuracies, and provided remedies to assure for reliable and accurate results. Ensured that data quality objectives were met for analysis and reporting of data for final approval using Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, by performing calculations and plotting graphs. Performed method validations according to ISO 17025 standards. Developed knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, i.e. health and safety. Show less
