I worked with Eliza during her first 6 months of building a new team and programs at Canada Vietnam Language Centre. As a leader, Eliza possesses great vision and ambition for her organisation and team, and she is not afraid to follow a more challenging path to succeed. As a manager, Eliza is people-focused, collaborative and invested. She is dedicated to teacher and staff development, as well as her own professional development, leading by example. She shares her esperience, knowledge and innovation as a teacher and curriculum developer with her team, demonstrating the ultimate importance of quality teaching and meeting learner needs.

Eliza is an excellent manager, even when she was new to management she was fully committed to making sure that her staff and colleagues were fully supported. She spent a lot of time developing new staff and ensuring that all of her team were on the same page in regards to the quality of the education they provided. She is dedicated to her own development and is not afraid to ask for help or ask questions when she is unsure of something. She also became a tutor for a number of teachers on the Cambridge certificate in teaching English to secondary school learners. During the time we worked for the same company we developed a collaborative working relationship between our teams to ensure that if/when the need arose both teams could function in a productive manner and deliver the high quality teaching that was expected. Eliza is also a teacher and spent some of her time every week teaching learners to ensure that she was always in touch with what was happening in the classrooms. Eliza is a hard-working, highly productive teacher and manager and any school/company would find her a huge asset to their team.

Eliza is amazing colleague and friend. Very positive and always a forward thinker. She not only collaborates with teachers in various disciplines, but also community members. Eliza makes sure her students are not only ready for assessments, but have incorporated 21st century skills into students lessons to give them an edge in future endeavors. Eliza would make a great member of anyone's team.
