      • Aug 2016 - Jun 2017

Grace Academy is a classical university-model tutorial program, currently serving pupils ages 10-17 with a variety of core academic classes. I designed a calculus curriculum and taught three one hour classes every week. Although the class was not an official Advanced Placement class, my curriculum closely followed the AP Calculus BC curriculum frameworks and all of my students took the national standardized AP exam. All students passed the test with an average score of 4 out of 5. I additionally advised on the college application process and wrote letters of recommendation. Show less

  • College Fund Lawn Care
    • Hot Springs, AR
    • Owner
      • May 2014 - Aug 2014

I saw the opportunity to start my own lawn care business. I built a small base of customers, hired an employee, and progressively bought better equipment. My market base was the retirement community of Hot Springs Village. I made a pledge to save half of my profits for college scholarships for myself and my employee and ended up being able to spend over $3,000 for scholarships. The business was thriving and only shuttered because I went to college. I saw the opportunity to start my own lawn care business.
